Today 4-H is definitely not just agriculture and home economics as many
people think, but it's also an opportunity for 4-H Members to be involved
in literally anything they are interested in! One of the areas
that is growing rapidly is the use of Technology in 4-H.
The Alton 4-H WEB project was initiated as an educational opportunity for
local members to learn more about web page publishing. This project
has now blossomed into a team building experience which has given interested
local members a venue in which to publish projects and relay information
about personal interests.
In alignment with the mission of the National 4-H Technology Corps, it
is our goal to increase local and regional awareness of 4-H through
the use of technology.
